A call for violence: In a  shocking column for the Daily Caller on Friday, former editor-in-chief Geoffrey Ingersoll advocated for conservatives to respond with violence to the current political climate.  “In corrupt legal scenarios, where the judges, prosecutors and even police are all a part of a rigged system, what do we do? Choose violence,” wrote Ingersoll.  “We all know the government is not going to help you in your time of need. Especially a Soros-sponsored government. Conservatives looking to peacefully assemble and publicly debate need to be realistic. Nobody is going to help.” Ingersoll was the Daily Caller’s top editor from 2017 to January 2025.  Currently, he is an editor at large.  He is also the director of the National Journalism Center, which is part of the conservative Young America’s Foundation, according to his LinkedIn profile. Trump said Portland, OR, was like living in hell.  A Washington Post article yesterday described the city in a much different way: “For many Portlanders, the city is something closer to heaven. The trees stay green all year long. The coffee is good at every shop. You can get to a mountain or the Pacific Ocean in an hour, and if you don’t feel like traveling, there are bookstores and parks in every neighborhood, not to mention some of the best restaurants in the country.” Sounds like we need to send in an army – of food critics!….If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
