More than eight million protestors participated in the roughly 3,300 No Kings demonstrations on March 28, 2026. I attended the New York City event that began at 2 p.m. at Columbus Circle on the southern end of Manhattan’s Central Park. Blustery weather in the high 30s didn’t deter tens of thousands of protestors who showed up, many of whom carried colorful signs (see above). I’ve documented the event with images below plus many photographs from TheRighting’s growing army of citizen journalists around the country.

According to Minnesota demonstrator Catherine Chayka, “It was a chilly, windy day but that didn’t stop 100,000+ of us from showing up at the Minnesota State Capitol for No Kings 3. Rumor had it that we were the flagship event of the day and we were blessed by performances by Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez and Maggie Rogers. Bernie Sanders gave a heartfelt speech, Jane Fonda read a letter by Renee Good’s widow, and Robert De Niro sent us an inspiring video message. Lots of local artists, activists and politicians also graced the stage. A really great and uplifting day.” (Image; Catherine Chayka)
