TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Apr. 16, 2025

Greetings! During the presentation to the national conference of Advocates, Counselors and Representatives for the Disabled, he referred to Black children as “colored kids.” Naturally, Trump posted a 14-second clip of the speech on Truth Social. The headline and subhead called him “geezer” and “crotchety”…Good question! Newsmax columnist Susan Estrich wonders where in the world is George W. Bush.  “America needs its former presidents to speak out about the abuse of presidential power that this president is engaged in,” she wrote. “But most of all, we need to hear from former President George W. Bush. He is, sadly, the only Republican with the gravitas and the standing to say no to Trump and his best friend Elon Musk”…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard
