Greetings! Mocking Trump: The right-wing Media Research Center analyzed content from five late-night talk shows from last week, including those hosted by Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers,  Jimmy Fallon and Jon Stewart.  According to the study, of  the 118 jokes, 114 were about the war with Iran. The Donald was the butt of 78 zingers (natch), followed by Pete “Hairgel” Hegseth (6), FCC chairman Brendan Carr (3), JD Vance (3) and sinister White House advisor Stephen Miller (3). NewsBusters has the full story…Ugh! The Major League Baseball season kicks off tonight with the NY Yankees playing the SF Giants. I’m opposed to March and November baseball. Seems un-American to me.  Our nation’s national pastime is meant to be played in warm weather…Phrase of the Day: The National Review highlights  “poverty tourism” to describe the journey of left-leaning influencers who are traveling to economically stressed Havana on trips organized by the anti-war group Code Pink. Worth noting: Wikipedia devotes an entire page to the phrase “slum tourism”… Plans for a new Muslim community on 2,000 acres in rural Texas were ditched after a Daily Caller article last February alerted area residents about the proposal. The Caller pats itself on the shoulder claiming that a local official credited its reporting for killing the deal which could have resulted in as many as 20,000 “foreign nationals”  living in Kauffman, TX, a community about  35 miles east of Dallas…RIP: Jeff Webb, a mentor to Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, died last week from a “freak” accident, suffering  a head injury after falling on a pickleball court, according to WND.  Webb was 76…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
