Donald Trump took a break yesterday from overseeing the war with Iran to trash Texas Senate nominee James Talarico.  In a blistering Truth Social post he wrote, “I believe that any human being running against him — sick, incompetent, close to death or, even a child — would win. He may be the Worst Candidate I have ever seen, other than, of course, Gavin Newscum.”  The portly POTUS then took a characteristic racist and sexist swipe at Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), calling her “low IQ,” his favorite insult for female politicians of color…Breitbart suggests that Trump has already won the war because U.S. bombs have destroyed 130 naval vessels.  This pro-war POV aligns with what’s appearing in much of the  right-wing publications. High-profile war critics like Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly may garner mainstream media headlines, but the majority of MAGA media supports Trump’s war….Miranda Devine, a MAGA-loving NY Post columnist, has a new podcast featuring FCC chairman Brendan Carr, a free speech opponent.  According to the show’s promo notes, Carr riffs on “biased” TV shows like “The View” and “Disney’s woke agenda” that put its broadcast licenses in jeopardy. Worth noting: one of the program’s sponsors is The Wellness Company, which is pushing “American-made Ivermectin,” the controversial drug that was falsely purported to treat Covid-19… RIP Chuck Norris: The action film and TV icon, beloved by the Right for his macho posturing, died March 19 at 86.  What few film fans know is that Norris was a prolific columnist for the far-right website WND during Trump’s White House 1.0…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
