Greetings! The skier Eileen Gu is the “true villain” of this year’s winter Olympics, according to the Daily Caller.  Born to an American father and Chinese mother, and raised in the U.S., Gu represents China in the games taking place now in Italy.  Because she weighs in on U.S. politics, coming out in support of issues like abortion and BLM, but stays mum on Chinese politics, the Daily Caller labeled her a “traitor”…Veteran journalist Dan Froomkin who writes the well-regarded Press Watch Substack is urging his audience not to cancel their subscriptions to the Washington Post in the wake of the decimation of its newsroom.  He outlines two key reasons to keep subscribing: (1) The NY Times “will only get smugger and lazier without the Washington Post nipping at its heels”; and  (2) Trump is causing so much damage that the country needs more news organizations covering him, not fewer.  For the record, I haven’t canceled my subscription….Uh oh. Bad news for Trump and the GOP.  Wall Street Journal opinion columnist Jason Riley believes that because Trump’s policies have failed, voters are no longer pointing the finger at Biden for the state of the economy.
