JD Vance threw ice water on the U.S.A.  Olympians who had mild critiques about the nation’s political climate, like skier Hunter Hess who said he had “mixed emotions” about representing the country in such fraught times.  “You’re not there to pop off about politics,’ Vance threatened, according to USA Today. “So when Olympic athletes enter the political arena, they should expect some pushback.” Memo to JD: Essential to what  makes America great is that we have the freedom of speech (or “pop off” as you so – eh hem – eloquently put it)…Dept. of Nasty: At yesterday’s Congressional hearing, Pam Bondi performed like an unhinged Trump 2028 campaign surrogate; conduct shockingly unsuitable for the nation’s top law enforcement officer.  If Bondi got into a pissing contest with a skunk, she’d win every time.
