NY Post writer Kirsten Fleming is clearly not reading the room.  In her latest column for the Murdoch tabloid, she criticizes soccer moms who are becoming activists protesting masked ICE agents flooding the streets of our cities and spreading fear and terror.  When the ruling political party loses soccer moms, they are ignoring a large, critical and influential segment of the voting electorate.  And when soccer moms put themselves at legal and physical risk, it shows the intensity of their emotions….Appropriate Movie Title of the Month:  The Ice Storm, a 1997 feature film starring Tobey Maguire about an ill-fated night in 1973…Trump’s new acronym is MIGA – Make Iran Great Again. He used it in a Truth Social post this morning urging Iranians to keep protesting…Agree! The National Review called the Trump administration’s targeting of Fed Chairman Jerome Powell a “disgrace.”  The Washington Examiner also voiced its opposition to the “prosecution” of Powell…Dept. of Sticks & Stones: Minnesota’s right-wing Power Line blog calls the NY Times’s powerful columnist Nick Kristoff “America’s dumbest pundit”…I watched the first half of the Golden Globes Sunday night.  I wasn’t bothered that the vast majority of presenters avoided political commentary.  Most of the world knows full well the sins of the Trump administration and the on-air protests of a few celebrities in a 2026 awards show would have only served to widen the political chasm in our country...Just sayin’: The Washington Free Beacon still has this  alarming story on its  home page: “It’s Time to Rename January After Donald Trump.”  It was posted January 7….If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting, Howard
