Butler: The Untold Story of the Near Assassination of Donald Trump and the Fight for America’s Heartland, by conservative journalist Selena Zito, purports to reveal what really happened.  Not sure how the incident can be stretched into a 256-page book.  Trump is already promoting it since the attempt shows him in a heroic light…Speaking of books, the president also is also endorsing conservative playwright David Mamet’s new tome “The Disenlightenment: Politics, Horror, and Entertainment.” Our book-loving president called it “incredible.” Worth noting: Trump screwed up the punctuation in the book’s title, dropping the colon after disenlightenment and inserting a comma, which made it an incomprehensible word salad. Buckley, Jr., the father of modern conservatism and the founding editor of the National Review, drops today.  Buckley: The Life and Revolution That Changed America, by Sam Tanehaus, comes in at a whopping 1020 pages…Trump is also promoting The Detroit Cowboy (tagline: “Go where you’re celebrated, not tolerated), the new Nashville restaurant owned by his buddy Kid Rock.  In a Truth Social post, POTUS wrote, “I hear it is a very friendly MAGA establishment and look forward to going there soon.” I wonder if Trump would have written those words if his musician buddy opened a TACO stand…I learn something new about right-wing media every day.
