Greetings! More rough seas for Pride Month. Sec. of Defense Pete “Hair Gel” Hegseth announced that the Navy ship named after gay rights icon Harvey Milk will be renamed on June 13. No new name has been chosen. Worth noting: Milk served as an operations officer on submarines during the Korean War. He worked as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors until his assassination in 1978. In 2006, President Obama posthumously awarded Milk with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The website Military.com reviewed a Navy memo stating that the renaming was being ordered to “reestablish a warrior culture.” Also of note: The National Review calls Milk a “patriot”…Non-stop from Toronto to Mar-a-Lago? Air Canada announced that in celebration of Pride Month, it’s launching its first “two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex and asexual” flight. Fox News and other outlets on the Right have taken notice and not in a good way. Meanwhile, WND describes the flight as woke gone wild. Worth noting (with a touch of irony): Air Canada flight attendant Gaëtan Dugas was falsely accused of being patient zero for decades in the Aids epidemic that decimated the gay community in the early 80s, according to the CBC…Another day, another Wall Street Journal op-ed criticizing Trump policies. In the WSJ, Princeton economics professor Alan Binder argues that MAGA policies are making America mediocre. He notes what makes the country great are best-in-class universities, trade and science. “No other nation comes close.
