Greetings! Another MAGA-world documentary hits theaters today.  Dinesh D’Souza, the man behind the election-conspiracy film 2000 Mules, which was dropped by its distributor in May after a defamation lawsuit by election workers in Georgia, gives the world Vindicating Trump.  It’s about – well, I think the title says it all… Dept. of Corrections.  Yesterday, I posted a link to a short clip of Donald Trump babbling about the wetness of a hurricane and I said it was in reference to Hurricane Helene. He’s announced a collection of Trump timepieces  featuring two distinct lines including the wildly expensive Tourbillon ($100,000) Each of the super premium ones are numbered and come with a letter signed by Trump, who claims that only 147 of the gold and diamond-encrusted limited editions have been made. Natch, he’s keeping No. 1 for himself…The Weekend Watch: a few months back, I discovered the joys of The West Wing, now streaming all 150 episodes on Max and justifiably celebrating its 25th anniversary. Somehow, I missed it in its initial seven-season run.  If only real life White House staffers behaved like those fictional characters toiling to support  “The West Wing’s” too-good-to-be-true president Jed Barlet.  Also:  “Saturday Night Live” kicks off its 50th anniversary season this weekend. Looking forward to Maya Rudolph’s killer Kamala Harris impressions.  The late Chris Farley would have been the perfect Tim Walz…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard
