Greetings! Dept. of No Surprises: The Rupert Murdoch-owned NY Post just endorsed Donald Trump for president. “Many find him offensive — and we say fair enough: He can be ridiculously hyperbolic,” the editors write about Trump’s history of unhinged, dictatorial behavior, as if these are mere eccentricities and not the personality disorders of someone who continues to threaten our democracy. “But before Covid wreaked havoc across the globe, Trump’s first-term results were paychecks that grew markedly faster than inflation, the lowest unemployment in 50 years, a secure border and peace overseas”…Just published:  Bulletproof: The Truth About the Assassination Attempts on Donald Trump by alt-right conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec. The  looney tome’s subhead tells you all you need to know:  “How a shot meant for Donald Trump took out Joe Biden.” Worth noting: Don Jr. wrote the forward…Brace yourself Manhattanites:  The Donald’s Madison Square Garden rally this Sunday will feature an alt-right superstar. Tucker Carlson, the fired Fox News squawking head, told RedState  he’ll be joining his Supreme Leader onstage…Weekend Watch:  I Am Not a Monster.  Sounds like a creepy Halloween tale, but it’s not.  The two-part Max doc is an engrossing true crime examination of a sociopathic Minnesota woman who murdered her husband, went on the lam to Florida, where she killed again.  Set primarily in the bleak, snow-blown Midwest, it gives off serious “Fargo” vibes.
