Greetings! Who attended any of the 3,000-plus No Kings demonstrations nationwide on Saturday? I was at the south end of NYC’s Central Park with thousands of others protestors disgusted with the Trump administration, and I’ve got the images from Manhattan and around the country to prove it. American Spectator contends popular Pennsylvania state treasurer Stacy Garrity is becoming a force in the party. She’s the GOP nominee for governor who will be running against Gov. Josh Shapiro. An Iraqi war veteran and successful businesswoman, Garrity has drawn the attention of party power brokers, per the Spectator….At least one right-wing outlet supports the choice of comedian Bill Maher as this year’s Mark Twain Prize winner, an honor bestowed by the Trump-Kennedy Center (yikes, that phrase was tough to write!). Hollywood in Toto gives a thumbs up to the  Maher pick because he “supports free thinking in a muddled pop culture landscape”…Monday Night Watch: If you’ve felt like retreating to a cabin in the woods away from the noise of the urban world (a sane  desire here in Trump 2.0), tonight’s PBS special on Henry David Thoreau is a salve for the soul.  The documentary examines the life of the legendary transcendentalist author of  “On Walden Pond,” who celebrated living in harmony with nature….If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
