Greetings!  Here’s the alarming headline from yesterday’s Washington Free Beacon’s top story that I need to bring to your attention again: “It’s Time to Rename January After Donald Trump.” When I first saw it, I thought it was  satire –  the Beacon occasionally runs parody pieces.  I reviewed it several times before I was convinced the Beacon’s  Andrew Stiles was serious, based on his opinion of The Donald’s MAGA moves each January. Here are Stiles’ three apparently serious suggestions for a new name for the month: “Donuary”, “Trumpuary”, or simply “Trump.” What cult-like nonsense that wouldn’t even fly in North Korea or Russia.  Shame on the Free Beacon…Geoffrey Ingersoll,  The Daily Caller’s outspoken editor-at-large, had some harsh words for Kristi Noem about her false framing of the fatal shooting in Minneapolis of Renee Good at the hands of an ICE agent. “DHS Secretary Kristi Noem went full MAGA-brained retard, tweeting that Good was a ‘domestic terrorist,’” he wrote. “No, she fu***ing wasn’t, lol.  Timothy McVeigh was a domestic terrorist. Ted Kaczynski, Nidal Hasan, Tyler Robinson. These are domestic terrorists.” Agreed, but he nonetheless blamed  the shooting on what he termed later a “long-running propaganda campaign that has produced armies of Karens who believe it is their duty to…chase, harass and blockade DHS operations” … Weekend Watch: The Pitt, one of 2025’s best shows returned to HBO Max last night.  The “ER”-inspired series is a perfect escape from the first  nightmarish nine days of the new year…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
