Greetings! The influential Canadian news brand The Globe and Mail published an op-ed yesterday urging the nation’s citizens to prepare for the possible U.S. invasion of their country.  The authors of the article, Thomas Homer-Dixon and Adam Gordon, theorize that Trump is eyeing the oil-rich province of Alberta as the 51st state…NewsBusters reviewed the Monday night broadcast of  “The CBS Evening News with Tony Dokoupil” and gave the new program some mild praise.  Editor Curtis Houck  wrote that the show came off as “refreshingly down-the-middle and normal. One might suggest normal might convey a feeling of boredom or staleness. But in this deeply partisan world and a legacy, elite media that have long lost the trust of the wider public, it’s what we need.” Worth noting: Status News eviscerated Dokoupil’s first two broadcasts this week citing “a chaotic on-air rollout, cringe social posts and MAGA-friendly editorial choices.” Editor Oliver Darcy called it an “embarrassment”…Townhall has released its second version of its list of 2025’s worst journalists featuring selections 11 through 30.  Among the choices: ABC’s David Muir (#28), CNN’s Brian Stelter (#20), and NBC’s Kristen Welker (#13)…This is the January 7, 2020, front page of the NY Times reporting on the J6 insurrection.  The giant headline splattered across the entire page says it all, “Trump Incites Riot”…RIP Michael Reagan, 80, the eldest son of conservative icon Ronald Reagan. He was a conservative talk show host and actor.  He appeared frequently on Newsmax TV and wrote a column for its website.
