Welcome to Black History Month.  Wonder how it will be acknowledged by the Trump White House 2.0?   The Pentagon, led by Pete Hegseth, has already pushed for the suspension of events recognizing Black History Month. Secretary Brylcreem has Juneteenth, Holocaust Remembrance Day and LGBTQ Pride Month in his crosshairs as well (MSNBC)…The conservative op-ed page of Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal took deadly aim at The Donald’s tariff assault on Canada, Mexico and China with this January 31 headline: The Dumbest Trade War in History. And that whopper of an editorial was followed up with this op-ed last night: The Dumbest Trade War Fallout Begins. Predictably, Trump called  the highly influential news outlet the Fake News Wall Street Journal.  Memo to Trump: these are opinion pieces, not news articles….Others from the right trashed the trade war including the National Review and the Washington Examiner…The women of “The View” are “clucking with hate” about Trump’s 27-year-old press secretary Karoline Leavitt because she’s good looking and young.  So charges Liberty Paige of SteveGruber.com…Is Trump 3.0  a possibility as Politico suggested last week? Fuggetaboutit, says Toni Williams of Victory Girls. She posits that MAGA Nation doesn’t need a third Trump term because the GOP has plenty of young talent, including J.D. Vance, Ron DeSantis, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders…Christianity Today, the evangelical magazine founded by the late Rev. Billy Graham, gets slammed by the Western Journal for publishing  “sob stories” about Trump’s immigration policies…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard
