Greetings!  In recognition of Kash Patel’s confirmation as FBI chief, I’ve chosen my word of the week: Kakistocracy.  It’s defined as a government run by the most unqualified and unscrupulous citizens.  Ring any bells?…Trump is sounding increasingly serious about making Canada the 51^st state.  Last night, in a Truth Social post before the politically freighted 4 Nations Face-Off hockey game between the U.S. and Canada, Trump said that Canada, “will someday, maybe soon, become our cherished and very important Fifty First State.” In the same megalomaniacal post, Trump invited “Governor” Trudeau to watch the game with him in Washington, a major diss of the Canadian prime minister.  This crazy bile aimed at a country that has been such a staunch American ally is shameful.  USA Today sports columnist Erik Brady spoke bluntly for many of his fellow Americans in yesterday’s timely column; “Feel free to hate me but I’m rooting for Team Canada in the 4 Nations”… February Fireworks Alert: Trump plans to deliver a fiery speech tomorrow to cap the three-day CPAC conference in Maryland.  CPAC, a political Woodstock for conservatives, has a stellar nationalist lineup, including  JD Vance, border big shot Tom Homan and a host of European ultra-right-wingers such as Nigel Farage…Megyn Kelly for president in 2028? So predicts snarky Fox News host Jesse Watters who thinks the right wing superstar podcaster is positioned for a White House run, reports Mediaite.
