Illicit drug use.  Those are just some of the activities that a leaked House Subcommittee report has charged Matt Gaetz.  The embattled ex-Florida congressman, as you may recall, was Donald Trump’s first choice for Attorney General.  Let’s just call this sordid tale Gaetzgate…Dept. of Peak Insanity:  POTUS-elect Trump wants to rename Mt. Denali, the nation’s highest mountain peak, to what it was previously known as: Mt. McKinley. It was named after William McKinley,  the 25th United States president who was assassinated in 1901.  President Obama changed the name to Denali in 2015 which is what Alaska’s indigenous people have always called the mountain.  (Newsweek)…The Donald is also intent on renaming and reclaiming the Panama Canal.  In a Truth Social post this weekend, he referred to The American Canal.  The president of Panama responded by posting that it belongs to Panama.  On Truth Social, Trump replied ominously: “We’ll see about that.” Worth recalling: In 2019, ProPublic wrote that Trump’s companies in Panama were accused of tax evasion…The Victory Girls have aimed their cannons at Kamala Harris’s step daughter Ella Emhoff for landing endorsement deals, including Prada sunglasses.  Here’s what the blog’s Lisa Carr wrote: “She is the liberal poster child of 2024-tatted-up, hairy armpits, acne, just the right amount of androgyny and, my God, those glasses that scream, ‘I voted for tampons in the boys’ bathroom!’” …Nasty! C-list comic Rob Schneider described Joe Biden as a corpse attached to a car battery.  The rightward flamethrower made the remarks at TurnPointUSA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix.
