Aug. 7, 2025

Greetings! Dept. of Bad Timing: FrontPage made the unfortunate choice yesterday for this home page headline on the 80th anniversary of the atomic blast that devastated Hiroshima: To Save Civilization, Reject Feminism and Honor Mothers. How about saving civilization by embracing nuclear disarmament?… America’s second-most famous hoodie-wearing celebrity (after Bill Belichick) has a memoir coming out November 11.  Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) has penned Unfettered, in which he is described as an “anti-politician.” The slim volume (240 pages) will delve into his depression and stroke, as well as offer his prescription for America’s future.  Sounds like he’s tossing his hat in the ring for 2028… Betcha didn’t know that Tennessee might become America’s conservative leader.  That’s one of the key campaign promises of Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) as she launches her bid for governor of the Volunteer State. (Daily Wire)…Right-wing media is lauding unpredictable Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen for donating $1,000 to the white woman brutally beaten by a Cincinnati mob that was reportedly Black. (WND)…This is strictly for the tin-foil hat crowd.  Infowars posted a story warning of an imminent alien invasion. As in extraterrestrial  beings…Could this be true? Robert Mueller, the ex-FBI Director who unsuccessfully investigated Trump during his first term, is reportedly living in a memory-care facility. The story is picking up steam in right-wing circles. (Western Journal)…More Nepo celebs with good genes: Zoë Kravitz and Dakota Johnson, suggests subscriber Jill Davison…..If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard
