Politico has the newsletter subject line of the day on the 11th hour ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran: “Better TACO Tuesday Than World War III.”  ICYMI: TACO is shorthand for “Trump always chickens out”…Book news: Get ready for Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump by NY Times scoopmeisters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan.  The book focuses on the first year of Trump’s second presidency (although I’m not sure I want to relive it. PTSD etc).  “Regime Change” drops June 16, two days after The Donald’s 80^th birthday, and just in time for Father’s Day gifts…The National Pulse has a long list of possible candidates that Trump might name to replace his recently fired Attorney General Pam Bondi.  Among those players being considered to become the newest Trump White House cast member: Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO); Mark Whitaker, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations;  Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton; U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro; Counselor to the President Alina Habba, and Todd Blanche, Acting U.S. Attorney General and former Trump defense attorney.  Altogether, there are 23 names on the Pulse list ….”The Charlie Kirk Show,” the podcast of the popular right-wing activist who was slain last September, is one of the fastest-growing right-wing podcasts, according to TheRighting’s just released research. The show, now hosted by producer Andrew Kolvet, drew nearly 30,000 new subscribers in the first quarter. Ultra-right looney Candace Owens’ program ranked as the fastest-growing podcast on my list for the second quarter in a row.  I shudder to think about what that says about certain factions in our country….If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
