Greetings! Don’t fire Jimmy Kimmel. That’s the surprising message from right-wing entertainment pundit Christian Toto.  On his website he argues that it would fuel already overheated ideological wars. Instead, Toto says viewers should boycott Kimmel. To me, Kimmel’s joke (told days before the DC dinner)  – “Mrs. Trump, you have the glow of an expectant widow” –  gratuitously poked the bear putting his Disney/ABC bosses in a no-win situation. Worth noting: Donald Trump has a long history of boosting violent words and images. In March 2024, he posted a video of a pickup truck with President Joe Biden hogtied on the tailgate. And in 2023, he suggested that Gen. Mark Milley should be executed for treason…Class Act: Bruce Springsteen, a staunch anti-Trumper, opened his Sunday concert in Austin, Texas, with a prayer for Donald Trump, per The Gateway Pundit.  “We…send out a prayer of thanks that our President, nor anyone in the administration, nor anyone attending was injured in last night’s incident at the press Correspondents’ Dinner.” That’s how a musical genius uses his superstar pulpit to hit the right notes without singing a song…Friendly Fire?  RealClearPolitics national political correspondent Susan Crabtree hints that the Secret Service officer who was shot at Saturday night’s WHCD event may have been struck by friendly fire. “I just asked the Secret Service about the possibility that the UD officer was hit by another Secret Service officer or agent,” she wrote on X. “I’m told there’s a gag order on the entire Secret Service over what exactly occurred last night in terms of who shot whom.
