In a triumph of mathematical impossibility, NBC News reported Saturday that the number of march participants who were registering to vote had reached a staggering 800,000. The network then issued a correction, explaining that the 800,000 number was the total number of those participating in the Washington march — not merely those registering to vote. But that number was off by a good margin, too.
