TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Trump has been unusually quiet on Truth Social in the past 18 hours with only one post this morning.  It features the front page of Israel’s Jerusalem Post with a giant image of POTUS under this banner headline: “God Bless the Peacemaker”...Clever! “Saturday Night Live’s” six-minute opening sketch featured a re-creation of last week’s contentious Senate hearing with Amy Poehler as Pam Bondi and Tina Fey as Kristi Noem.  The best line went to the Noem character who said, “I’m the rarest type of person in Washington, DC: a brunette that Donald Trump listens to”...The conservative Salem Media Group, owner of more than a hundred radios stations, as well as popular right-wing outlets such as Townhall and RedState, cut 60 employees late last week. The layoffs hit positions in both  radio and digital division, per Radio Insight.  The company has approximately 900 employees...The right-tilting Free Press just published Woody Allen’s poignant remembrance of his brilliant co-star and ex-girlfriend Diane Keaton. Publishing timely original work from world-renowned writers, like Allen, is one of the reasons The Free Press is the fastest-growing right-wing website according to TheRighting’s new report.  A week ago, Paramount slapped down a reported (and jaw-dropping) $150 million to buy the property and install co-founder and controversy magnet Bari Weiss as editor in chief of CBS News...Amazon MGM Studios announced last week that the company’s feature-length documentary on Melania Trump, the country’s Sphinx-like First Lady, will be released theatrically January 30 before landing on Amazon Prime...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. MSNBC Spreads Fake News That ICE Zip-Tied Children

source: NewsBusters

After federal agents raided an apartment building in Chicago to arrest Tren de Aragua gang members, MSNBC personalities repeatedly spread the fake news that agents zip-tied children. And, even though no one died in the raid, they also promoted hyperbolic comparisons to the Gestapo, the Tulsa killings of 1921, and the MOVE Philadelphia bombing of 1985.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! While most conservative media cheer Trump’s plan for peace in the Middle East,  FrontPage has voiced opposition to the proposal.  Writer Daniel Greenfield charges that the agreement “drags the U.S. into nation building.” Worth noting: National Review called the plan “gonzo brilliance”...The flying saucer platform: Lauren Boebert’s re-election campaign for Congress in Colorado’s 4th district is out of this world.  Almost literally. An article in Big League Politics about the launch of her campaign says the wacky politician is focusing her efforts on government transparency especially when it comes to UFO’s.  She ties in government transparency with an alleged coverup about UFOs.  According to Big League, Boebert “has been an outspoken advocate for declassifying UFO-related intelligence. She argues that the issue isn’t about aliens — it’s about honesty and accountability”...Couldn’t agree more with this headline above a Tina Brown article in The Free Press: America Doesn’t Care About Trump’s Graft. Well, this American cares...Weekend Watch: Bowing tonight on Amazon Prime: John Candy: I Like Me. The documentary takes an affectionate look at the jolly comedic actor who died at age 43 more than 30 years ago.  Weekend Whiff: The Lost Bus on Apple+. Matthew McConaughey plays a down-and-out school bus driver who drives a bus full of children through California’s deadly Camp Fire inferno and bumps into every cliché along the journey. Based on a true story....If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Dems Have Lukewarm Response as Trump Brings Peace to Gaza

source: SteveGruber.com

If it’s Trump, it can’t possibly be historic peace; it must be problematic peace and most likely temporary. And it probably won’t work. The peace deal certainly hasn’t been covered in depth as a reason to celebrate by the mainstream media – or praised much by the elected Democrats on X.

Whereas ‘international opinion’ believed we had to cut off Israel, Trump armed the Jewish state, bombed Iran, and squeezed Qatar to bring Hamas to heel.
