Democrats in Massachusetts are well on their way to removing God from the oath of office. At least 14 Democrats, mostly freshmen lawmakers, introduced a bill to amend the state constitution. Instead of saying “”so help me God” elected leaders would say “This I do under the pains and penalties of perjury.”
