The California man who attempted to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Nicholas Roske, recently began identifying as a woman by the name of “Sophie.” Roske never legally changed his name, but his defense counsel opted to refer to him as “Ms. Roske” in legal filings. Mainstream media outlets soon followed suit.
