Greetings! Trump’s Great American State Fair, a 16-day gala, kicked off last night on DC’s National Mall with a campaign-style event meant to spotlight the Great Leader. I happened to watch a few minutes of coverage on Fox News and Newsmax. Lots of predictable chest-thumping from Trump. Yawn. Worth noting: Alexis Wilkins, aka FBI Director Kash Patel’s girlfriend, sang the national anthem.  Wonder how she got that gig….Dept. of Sticks & Stones: In a rancid Truth Social post, Trump compares the looks of Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA), a rising political star, to Pee-Wee Herman, the effeminate, child-like gay performance artist who died in 2023…The Washington Free Beacon reports this morning that a group of veteran Dem political strategists have formed a new company to “pay celebrities and influencers for political advocacy.” One of the founders of Stage Left, according to the Beacon, is Greg Propper, the mastermind behind Kamala Harris’s strategy to pay millions to big-name celebrities during her run for the Oval Office in 2024…FrontPage reminds its readers of another algae invasion of the Reflecting Pool, with a link to this 2012 AP article during the Obama administration. What they failed to mention was that Obama didn’t position himself as the nation’s Chief Pool Cleaner…Sounds about right: In yesterday’s Inside Trump’s Head podcast, the president’s relentless adversarial chronicler, Michael Wolff, estimated that the portly POTUS is spending about 60% of his time obsessing over the Reflecting Pool disaster…Is Trump dealing with a terminal illness? That what Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) suggests in this HuffPost report. “Lieu called attention to what he described as ‘erratic behavior’ by the president,” according to the story. “Examples include Trump being unable to stay awake at meetings, having visible arm weakness, and swelling in his hands”…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting.
