Greetings! Right-wing media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal and the NY Post have both come out swinging against Donald Trump’s Iran peace plan.  The WSJ’s  editorial board charges that Trump and Iran are claiming Israel is the primary obstacle to a pact. “To protect his bad deal,” the editors write. “Trump makes the Jewish state the scapegoat.” In another Journal op-ed, Alyssia Finley argues that Trump and Vance “echo the anti-Israeli left.” And Michael Goodwin, a longtime conservative columnist at Murdoch’s NY Post, says Trump and Vance are “rattled on Iran and their attacks on Israel prove it.” Worth noting: The American Spectator also criticizes the president’s peace deal, calling it Trump’s RetreatWhat’s the most “Americana” town in America? It’s Franklin, TN, according to the Daily Wire.  “This is where nostalgic, old-fashioned, and classic Americana values have stopped to rest,” opines the Wire’s Andie Valdes.  My own vote goes to New London, NH, a picture-perfect New England hamlet tucked into the state’s southwest corner on the shores of Lake Sunapee, in the shadow of Mt. Keasarge ABC late-night gabfest host Jimmy Kimmel, one of Trump’s most vocal critics, is taking the summer off.  Rosie O’Donnell who famously moved to Ireland after the 2024 election as she sought a calmer political environment, will sit in for Kimmel the week of August 17.  Hollywood in Toto denounces O’Donnell’s appointment and wonders if ABC will reign in the “deranged” star. A rotating crew of guest hosts take over July 6 until Kimmel returns September 23…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard
