There has been another death in police custody, that of an 18-year-old white Brit Henry Nowak. He was out one evening in Southampton, England, when he got into an altercation with Vickrum Digwa who stabbed Nowak. When the police arrived, Nowak was bleeding out, but the officers, prompted by Digwa’s claim that he had been racially abused, put the dying man in handcuffs.
