Greetings! Donald Trump is being pummeled from all sides of the political spectrum for his vile Truth Social rant yesterday denigrating Rob Reiner after the murder of the acclaimed director and  his wife Michele. (you can read it here in case you missed the link yesterday). The pathological POTUS failed to recognize that the moment called for a gesture of unity, tolerance and reassurance for a nation shell-shocked by the spasms of violence over the awful weekend. Here’s my suggestion for what Trump should have written if he possessed a single cell of decency.  “Melania and I extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Rob and Michele Reiner who were murdered in their home Sunday afternoon. While Rob Reiner and I had different political views, that never stopped me from admiring the skill and artistry he brought to a decades-long entertainment career on both sides of the camera. He made significant and lasting contributions to one of America’s greatest industries and exports.  His films brought joy and happiness to millions of people around the world, and they deserve to stand the test of time.”  Worth noting: Trump’s ghoulish post prompted thousands of comments on the far-right Truth Social, virtually all negative…Vanity Fair MAGAzine: That’s what  Showbiz 411 cleverly calls Vanity Fair after publishing a gushing group profile of the children of MAGA luminaries Ted Cruz, Kristi Noem, RFK Jr, Lee Zeldin, and Howard Lutnick. “There’s not a bit of reporting involved, just wet kisses,” hisses writer and veteran Tinseltown chronicler Roger Friedman. “No mention of Barron Trump who’s MIA in the world.
