Over the weekend, the Washington Post named six politicians to watch in 2026’s midterm elections.  They include: populist Dan Osborn, running as an independent for an open Senate seat in Nebraska; Maine Senator Susan Collins, who will be battling against either oyster fisherman Graham Platner or 78-year-old Gov. Janet Mills; the ultra-progressive Abdul El-Sayed, who’s vying for an open Senate seat in Michigan; Geoff Duncan, a former Republican Lt. Gov. who is running as a Democrat for Georgia’s governorship; and Pennsylvania’s Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) who aims to retain his position in a state that is becoming increasingly red…The Golfer-in-Chief: Our modest president posted a short video on Truth Social showing him sinking a chip shot just beyond the green at a Florida course. Trump played with pro Brooks Kaepka, hockey legend Wayne Gretsky and Fox News anchor Bret Baier…Did Trump actually call Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz retarded or did I dream it? I don’t even like using the word in this newsletter. It should be inconceivable that the President of the United States would use such coarse language. But in the land of Trump 2.0, it’s just another nightmare day at the office…Conservatives are raving about Chevrolet’s pro-family, three-minute Christmas video.
