Almost 30 students staged a sit-in outside the Chancellor office to protest that Vanderbilt wouldn’t let students vote on sanctions proposal against Israel. The university suspended at least 16 of the students, and three have been charged with assaulting an officer, while a fourth was charged with vandalism.
