Michigan Democrats had to choose between a Hezbollah-sympathizing radical and a perfectly respectable former Barack Obama attorney. Given the drift of the party, it wasn’t a difficult choice — it was the virulently anti-Israel extremist all the way. At their convention over the weekend, Democrats selected Amir Makled as their nominee for a seat on the University of Michigan Board of Regents.
