But subscriber increases plunge dramatically for Candace Owens program in the last three months
“The Megyn Kelly Show” and “Candace” tied as the third quarter’s fastest-growing right-wing podcasts, according to TheRighting’s exclusive analysis of Castbox data. Both programs experienced 33% year-over-year (YOY) subscriber growth.
“The Megyn Kelly Show” had 234,639 Castbox subscribers at the conclusion of the third quarter, which ranked second only to Ben Shapiro’s massive 998,845 Castbox subscribers. A year ago, Kelly had 176,811 subscribers. “Candace,” the daily podcast from the right-wing conspiracy theorist Candace Owens, finished the third quarter with 75,913 subscribers, compared to 56,924 subscribers on September 30, 2025. Her show landed in the top ten right-wing podcasts for the first time since TheRighting has kept records.
However, the remarkable run of four consecutive quarters of dramatic YOY subscriber growth may be ending, per TheRighting’s research. “Candace” added only 239 subscribers from June 30, 2026, to September 30, 2026, which was statistically zero growth.

“Based on the trend lines that I’m seeing, it’s highly likely subscriber growth will fall below 10% in the fourth quarter,” predicts Howard Polskin, President, TheRighting. “That suggests there may be a ceiling to what right-wing audiences will tolerate when it comes to extremist points of view. If so, the go-go days of growth for the ‘Candace’ podcast may be over.”
