TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! I didn’t watch all of ABC News’ hour-long interview with Donald Trump last night. However, from what I observed, senior correspondent Terry Moran did a good job holding The Donald’s feet to the fire under challenging circumstances.  Still, the MAGA-in-Chief really knows how to Houdini himself out of tough questions. Worth noting: The Gateway Pundit says that Trump destroyed the “ABC hack reporter”…As if he didn’t have enough on his hands with wars overseas and a cratering economy, Trump has decided to stick his snout into the world of sports.  For example, he's pushing for a pardon for Pete Rose who received a lifetime ban from baseball for gambling on the game. On Monday, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred confirmed he met with Trump earlier this month to discuss Rose, per USA Today. Trump also claimed that he told New York Giants brass to re-sign star running back Saquon Barkley, who ultimately joined the Super-Bowl-winning Philadelphia Eagles.  However, several outlets, including NBC Sports, report the Giants have denied having any talks with Trump about Barkley. Any bets on whether POTUS  will jump into the controversy surrounding his pal Bill Belichick and the 73-year-old legendary NFL coach’s relationship with his  overprotective 24-year-old girlfriend?...The war in Vietnam ended 50 years ago today…If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

China Is the Big Victor in the Canadian Election

Trump wasn’t on the ballot for Monday’s elections in Canada, but the vote was all about him. There’s no doubt that Trump was the loser, as much as Canada’s disappointed Conservatives were. Prime Minister Mark Carney and his ruling Liberal Party came from behind to triumph by running against Trump.

The First 100 Days Is Made for TV

source: Conservative View from NH

One hundred days is not a milestone. It is a foundation. The polls don’t get it. The press doesn’t get it. Republicans get it, and God has blessed us with Donald Trump. When God spared him from the deadly intent of that bullet in Pennsylvania, it was because Trump still had work to do.

Just 100 days into Trump’s second term, the broadcast evening news landscape is even more lopsided than it was eight years ago, when Trump was besieged with relentlessly hostile coverage. So far this year, the new Trump administration has faced a withering 92% negative coverage from ABC, CBS and NBC.
