Greetings!  The NY Post makes a half-hearted attempt to lay blame for yesterday’s upside-down Delta jet crash landing in Toronto on DEI.  Here’s the lame headline:  “Delta Reaffirmed Its Commitment to DEI Initiatives Just Before Crash.” While nothing in the story points the finger at DEI for the accident, the headline sure sends a toxic message…Dept. of Surprises:  In recognition of President’s Day, The Hungarian Conservative named the top 10 U.S. presidents and one Donald J. Trump – an  ardent admirer of Hungarian dictator Viktor Orbán – did not make the list.  Leading the list? George Washington. The Hungarian Conservative also named the ten worst American presidents and Joe Biden wound up on that hall of shame…On Sunday, “60 Minutes” ran a strong,  even-handed segment on Trump and Elon Musk’s moves on USAID and what it portends for other government agencies. Victory Girls whines that the 60 Minutes piece was a  full “propaganda banger,” as well as “sob fest.” NewsBusters also scoffed at the report because it claimed that the two fired government workers featured in the story were not “the kind of nonpartisan workers the liberal media would like you to believe.” Here’s a link to the segment so decide for yourself…Also on Sunday night, NBC broadcast a three-and-a-half-hour 50^th anniversary special for “Saturday Night Live” that was mostly non-political.  Steve Martin’s hilarious opening monologue contained the most politically oriented content with the 79-year-old comedian boasting that he was “SNL’s” newest diversity hire and that he was just vacationing on a boat in the Gulf of Steve Martin. PJ Media’s resident wit Stephen Kruiser goes gushy for Donald Trump’s press secretary declaring, “Karoline Leavitt is my valentine after smacking down CNN hack Kaitlan Collins”…The American Conservative says The Donald needs to go  easier on our Canadian neighbors.  “Americans bridle at foreign interference,” wrote Doug Bandow.  “Canadians are no different. Trump should leave the future of Canada to the Canadians. Americans have enough work to do on this side of the border”…My advice for those of us sickened by the appointment of looney vax denier the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Sec. of Health and Human Services.  Take two aspirin and see me in four years…Speaking of the vaccine-adverse RFK Jr., The Federalist offers five tips to make America healthy again.  Here’s #5: recruit Melania to get his message across because “her body speaks for itself.”…One more thing to worry about: There’s a tiny chance an asteroid the size of a football field will collide with earth in 2032. Wonder how POTUS Vance will handle the crisis…The “Wide Awake Podcast” has dropped a two-hour interview with Errol Musk,  the odious and obnoxious father of Elon, America’s budget-bashing COO. In the interview, Musk senior discusses having a child with his stepdaughter. I’ll let that last line speak for itself….Weekend Watch:  Season 3 of HBO’s  White Lotus bows Sunday on Max.
