TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! The Wall Street Journal is urging its readers not to blame DOGE, weathermen or climate change for the devastating Texas floods that claimed the lives of more than 100.  “The real culprit is cruel and fickle Mother Nature,” opines the WSJ...Who’s the worst person in politics?  The Daily Caller’s Natalie Sandoval says it’s Nina Turner, former Democratic State Senator from Ohio. However, Sandoval praised Turner for tweeting that GOP budget cuts to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration were not to blame for the Texas flood tragedy...American Thinker columnist Joseph D’Hippolito suggests that ultra-right podcaster Candace Owens may be an Iranian asset. “The time has come to consider whether Candace Owens’ criticisms of Middle East policy constitute treason” writes D’Hippolito. “During her interview with Piers Morgan on June 24, Owens encouraged American soldiers to seek dishonorable discharges to avoid fighting a possible war against Iran”...New on the political bookshelf: 2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America. It was written by three top political journalists: Isaac Arnsdorf, The Washington Post; Josh Dawsey, The Wall Street Journal; and Tyler Pager, The New York Times.  A book review in The New York Times, praises the timely tome.  However, it cautions anti-Trumpers. “For liberal readers, ‘2024’ is a book of what-might-have-beens. That makes for a punishing read”...Thanks for nothing, RFK Jr.!  Measles cases are out a 33-year high as an epidemic of vaccine-resistance sweeps parts of the country. (Washington Post)...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

One would think Democrats could stow their hatred of Christians, conservatives, and white people until the bodies of the Camp Mystic victims have been pulled from the mud of the Guadalupe River. Elon Musk’s Populist Joyride Crashes into a Ditch

Now that Musk has “jumped the shark,” going against Trump and threatening to start a third party,  he is an island unto himself. He has nowhere to go now.
