TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Trump’s tariff war with China has failed.  That’s the conclusion of the editorial board of the Murdoch-controlled Wall Street Journal.  “Rarely has an economic policy been repudiated as soundly, and as quickly, as President Trump’s Liberation Day tariffs—and by Mr. Trump’s own hand,” the editors wrote last night. “Witness the agreement Monday morning to scale back his punitive tariffs on China—his second major retreat in less than a week.” The NY Post, another Murdoch media outlet, also trashed Trump’s tariff backsliding, calling it “no victory”...We’re all up sh*t's creek! RFK Jr., the nation’s wacky health czar, went swimming over the weekend in a DC creek with high levels of bacteria including E. coli. Even worse, he was joined by his grandchildren. Another stunning reason why Trump’s cabinet is a clown show of epic proportions. ABCNews.com has the story and images....Next stop Mars! Elon Musk has ambitions to land men on Mars by the end of this decade  (SteveGruber.com)…Earth-shattering news this weekend of no political consequence that you might have missed: Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend  Jordon Hudson placed third in the Miss Maine beauty pageant held at a Holiday Inn in Portland, Maine, according to Fox News and other outlets.  The Washington Free Beacon kicks Hodson when she’s down snarking that Belichick’s paramour was even “outshined and outclassed” by a transgender contestant. Didn’t think it was possible, but the legendary coach and Hudson get worse press than Pete Hegseth...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Disney’s “Snow White” Flopped Again Over Mother’s Day Weekend

source: Breitbart

The Disney Grooming Syndicate decided to give Normal People a gift over the Mother’s Day by setting up its dreadful live-action Snow White remake to flop all over again. Over the weekend, in the obvious belief that enough Americans hate their mothers enough to subject them to this artistic abomination, Disney expanded Snow White to an additional 1,020 theaters.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Hegseth in the Hot Seat (again): The Daily Princetonian published an article over the weekend charging embattled Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth with plagiarizing “small portions” of his senior thesis. “A review of Hegseth’s thesis by The Daily Princetonian, in consultation with three experts on plagiarism, found eight instances of uncredited material, sham paraphrasing, and verbatim copying,” according to reporter Sena Chang. “But while the three experts all said that the passages violated Princeton’s academic honesty regulations, they differed on whether the violations were serious or too minor to matter.” Hegseth graduated the Ivy League school in 2003.  Townhall calls the article a "nothing burger"....Another week, another Wall Street Journal editorial throwing shade on some aspect of the amoral Trump administration.  This time, the WSJ takes aim at the Trump family's troubling crypto business which gives all appearances of selling access to the president.  Basically, the administration is charged with overseeing the tokens that the Trump family is hawking.  The editors say it’s inviting trouble.  I say it stinks!...Dept. of Sticks & Stones: Trump insulted network TV journalist Martha Raddatz in a post last night Truth Social.  He called her “an old timer on ABC Fake News (the Slopadopolus show!)” and went on to imply she’s a loser and a hater. Worth noting: Trump misspelled her name...News flash. Trump can take a joke. MAGA activist Shawn Faresh has carved out a nice living for himself as a Trump impressionist.  He’s won over many fans including a certain resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.  Our contributor Michael Lovito has all the details in his latest article for TheRighting...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Trump Embraces Abe Lincoln’s Vision for the American West

source: Association of Mature American Citizens

Trump understands, like Lincoln did before him, that public land exists for the benefit of the American people. When families can’t afford to live where they work, something is broken. The federal government must stop hoarding land and start working with states and cities to unlock it for responsible development.

Calls to her offices often go unanswered. Want to go to her office to discuss a problem? Good luck with that. You’re “encouraged” to make an appointment. Instead of focusing on the needs of her district, she’s off with Bernie and company in an attempt to rally support in their war on Trump.
