TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Trump 3.0? Donald Trump Jr. is predicted to be one of two top favorites to snag the 2028 GOP presidential nomination, according to the Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll. The other favorite is JD Vance. WND has the details. I’m in the camp that’s openly wondering if we’ll even have a presidential election in 2028...Ex-Assistant Sec. of State Robert Charles, who served under Colin Powell, can't stand the millions of No Kings peaceful protestors who took to the streets nationwide last weekend.  Here’s what Roberts wrote for the conservative Association of Mature American Citizens: “To watch these self-indulgent, increasingly unhinged protests by those with nothing better to do, many not working, others hankering for 1960s-style riots – all of whom have been conditioned to hate Donald Trump – is like watching kids threaten to hold their breath until blue, if they have to do homework.”  Wow. Talk about not reading the mood of the country...Trump sure is dancing around the truth when it comes to the details regarding the construction of the White House ballroom and the demolition of the East Wing.  It’s only appropriate that Our House by Crosby, Still and Nash is the song of the day....Book Critic-in-Chief: President Trump used the bully pulpit last night to promote the new book about Teddy Roosevelt from Fox News anchor Bret Baier.  In describing To Rescue the American Spirit, Trump really stretched his vocabulary in his Truth Social post. “It’s really good,” he wrote. Such a wordsmith...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Thanks RFK Jr.  There's a measles outbreak in South Carolina, per ABC News.  Its origins have been traced to two schools, one of which has a vaccination rate of just 17%. Worth noting: Last night I dipped into an excellent PBS documentary on Donald Trump's vaccine-skeptical Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert Kennedy Jr. You can watch the RFK Jr. doc. on YouTube. Meanwhile, the HHS chief must be sick over reports that his alleged sexting partner,  journo Olivia Nuzzi, reportedly has a tell-all account of their steamy relationship in her upcoming  memoir. “American Canto.” Worth noting: Nuzzi’s tome has a December pub date, and RFK Jr’s wife, actress Cheryl “Curb Your Enthusiasm" Hines, has her memoir Unscripted coming out next month. Whose book will get more attention? My bet is on Nuzzi...Quote of the day: Pace University ethics professor Bennet Gershman on  Trump’s demand to have the Justice Department pay him $230 million for its prior investigations into him: “What a travesty. The ethical conflict is just so basic and fundamental, you don’t need a law professor to explain it. And then to have people in the Justice Department decide whether his claim should be successful or not, and these are the people who serve him deciding whether he wins or loses. It’s bizarre and almost too outlandish to believe.” (NY Times)...Driving to the right? New York City taxis are now playing Newsmax TV in the back of cabs, according to the feisty NYC news outlet Hell Gate...Righting readers from around the country sent me images of No Kings demonstrations in their cities and hamlets. View images here. Thanks everyone!...If you keep reading and protesting, I’ll keep Righting. Howard
