Something is very wrong: Two media outlets on the left and the right flagged mental health issues for officials at the very top of the Trump administration.  The Atlantic nailed it succinctly with this headline that had me cheering: “The Commander in Chief Is Not OK.”  MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell would definitely agree as you can see in this clip from last night's show. And the Wall Street Journal’s Peggy Noonan sounded the alarm about SecDef Pete “Hairgel” Hegseth in a devastating column that ends with this punch to his gut, “Something is wrong with this guy.” Gotta love the headline too: “The Embarrassing Mr. Hegseth.” Worth noting: American Spectator thinks it’s the Democrats who are unwell, not Trump...Speaking of Hegseth, The Dispatch, which leans right, justifiably smacks the SecDef with this article: Dress Codes or Codes of Honor?  Writer Kevin Williamson accuses him of pogonophobia (fear of beards) and points out that Hegseth has “’Beverly Hills, 90210’-style sideburns (that) often extend to a length that would be prohibited under military grooming standards’”...Trump dropped another vile “Sombrero” video last night.  The 85-second Truth Social clip featured a sombrero-wearing actor speaking with a Trump-sounding voice and in Spanglish, as he rants about the “Schumer shutdown” and the “Schumer siesta.” It’s an ugly and racist depiction of a Mexican or Central  American....Right-wing media outlets are starting to rev their outrage engines because Harvard has hired a drag queen named LaWhore Vagistan to teach one course on queer ethnography and another on “RuPaulitics: Drag, Race and Desire” for the spring semester.  The NY Post’s Kirsten Fleming is not a fan. Greetings and say hello to October.  For the record, I don’t eat anything pumpkin-flavored this month or ever.  And I assure you, my distaste predates the political ascendance of our pumpkin-skinned POTUS...Quite a hair-raising address Donald Trump uncorked on the military’s top brass at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia yesterday.  Hard to choose the most alarming statement from his unhinged hour-plus rant. He dangled the possibility of nuclear war, boasting that “we have more (nuclear weapons) than anyone else.” Trump floated using major Democrat-controlled cities as warfare training grounds for the military. He called U.S. inner city residents “animals” and  journalists  “sleazebags.”  His full spiel along with Sec. of War Pete “Hairgel” Hegseth’s opening act tirade can be seen here. Worth noting: Trump uses the politically incorrect term “paddy wagon,” rightfully considered a slur against  Irish-Americans...Commander-in-Chief for Life: Last night, The Donald posted photos of “Trump 2028” baseball caps on his Oval Office desk (Truth Social).... According to the Daily Wire, which claims this exclusive story from last week, the man  who was just found guilty for the thwarted 2022 attempt to kill Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh identifies as a transgender woman...BTW:  the Daily Wire has announced the expansion of its editorial team with the hiring of three reporters, including one journo focused on  all-important Texas.
