TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Donald Trump naturally blames the GOP’s coast to coast Election Day defeats on his absence from the ballot. The Wall Street Journal’s conservative op-ed board  believes otherwise.  This WSJ headline says it all: Trump Really Was on the Ballot...Book Critic-in-Chief: In a Truth Social post, Trump showers praise on ex-FBI agent and current Fox News contributor Nicole Parker for her tome The Two FBIs. The book, which drops November 11, charges the agency had two sets of employees: dedicated, honest agents, and other ones pushing an anti-Trump agenda...Speaking of Truth Social, The Donald was a busy boy on his favorite platform last night, posting 12 videos relating to his 2024 November Election Day triumph.  Worth noting: senior citizens love to remember their past glories....Here’s how the Washington Free Beacon positioned its obituary of Dick Cheney: “Dick Cheney entered the kingdom of heaven on Monday to avoid watching New York City be overtaken by a trust fund communist who loves terrorism.” Not sure the Beacon got its facts straight about George W. Bush’s warmonger Veep entering “the kingdom of heaven”...In the massive coverage of Zohran Mamdani’s earth-shaking election victory in NYC, most media outlets on the right and left failed to mention that the mayor-elect used the Arabic phrase ana minkum wa alaikum (“I am one of you and I am responsible.”) He used it while referencing the neighborhood of Steinway, Queens, where he lived and worked as a politician. It is home to a mix of immigrants from all over the world. I wish he used two or three other languages as well.  The Arabic-language usage, although only four words long, probably did not land well with many Jews in NYC and around the world who are jittery about his stewardship of the Big Apple. Here’s the full transcript of his speech, per the Guardian....If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Leftist Politicians in Office Are More Dangerous Than Fringe Radicals on Podcasts

source: The Federalist

Zohran Mamdani and Jay Jones, two Democrats noted for their extreme views, both won major electoral victories on Tuesday night. Mamdani will lead America’s most populous city, and Jones will be the chief law enforcement officer in one of America’s most influential and prestigious states — a stark reminder that the left’s most radical elements are in the driver’s seat.

Calm Down Dems, Your Socialist Champagne Will Age Quickly

Only when compared to a corrupt, sleazy, nepobaby with blood on his hands, and a beret-clad, narcissistic cat-man whose own friends begged him to step aside, did voters view Mamdani as a much-needed alternative.

Socialism Didn’t Win in NYC. Social Media Did

Mamdani didn’t win a policy debate. He won a personality contest.

Say Goodbye to MAHA in NYC

From the Soviet Union to Venezuela, Cuba, Hungary, and Poland, state-run grocery stores mean long lines, empty shelves, corruption—and even black markets peddling expired food. Hard pass. The shelves aren't just bare in these grocery stores; the produce and "healthier" options are almost nonexistent.

Illegal Immigrant Wins Mayoral Election in Major U.S. City

source: PJ Media

Introducing Kaohly Vang, a woman who previously admitted that she was living in the U.S. illegally and who just won an election to become the next mayor of St. Paul, Minn. The left isn't even hiding the fact that illegals are participating in our political/governmental systems anymore.

Does the Dems’ Chaos Strategy Work?

source: American Greatness

Democrats wield chaos as a strategy, overwhelming voters with nonstop turmoil that obscures blame and rallies key groups—leaving Republicans scrambling to counter before the clock runs out.

Dem Shutdown Will Make Catching a Flight Harder

source: Blaze Media

Democrats have made explicit their intention to use Americans' pain and inconvenience as political "leverage." A senior Democrat aide even indicated last month that the party will not concede short of "planes falling out of the sky."

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Donald Trump and his right-wing media minions have a shiny new target to rage against for the foreseeable future: NYC progressive mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani. Prepare for an ugly non-stop assault on Mamdani that may make MAGA media attacks on such relatively mainstream Dems as Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris seem tame in comparison....More good election night news: JD Vance’s half-brother, Cory Bowman, lost big in his bid to become the first Republican mayor of Cincinnati since 1971. Blaze Media called the Bowman defeat a “bloodbath”...Dept. of No Surprises: Lewis “Scooter” Libby, the disgraced ex-chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, has a glowing tribute to his late boss in the Wall Street Journal. “Dick Cheney was the most consequential vice president in American history,” Libby opined. “He was also one of our most successful defense secretaries, a respected congressional leader, the youngest-ever White House chief of staff, a corporate leader and a champion of conservative principles.” Worth noting:NewsBusters has a compilation of damning descriptions of Cheney’s time in power when he was routinely dubbed a war criminal...The Victory Girls blog is surprisingly (but justifiably) appalled that far-right extremist Laura Loomer landed press credentials for Pete “Hairgel” Hegseth’s Department of War.  “I hope Trump and Hegseth distance themselves from her soon. Many of us have contempt for her,” wrote Victory Girls’ Toni Williams, who also called Loomer “fruit loop city”...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Dem Voters Embraced the Fringe, from Socialists to Pro-Assassination Nuts

The voters spoke Tuesday night, and rather than reject Democrat extremism, they embraced it emphatically.

The Night America Chose Chaos Over Clarity

The verdict is in—and it’s ugly. Democrats didn’t just win; they ran the table. Last night’s victors are the radical heirs of a political faith that worships grievance, deconstruction, and power at all costs.
