TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Wall Street Journal columnist Andy Kessler loves that the Defense Department has been rebranded as the Department of War.  And in his latest imaginative column, he offers ideas for other rebrands of government bureaucracies that describe their function in language that citizens can understand.  For instance: Treasury should become the Dollar Printing Like Confetti Department; rename the Department of Education as the Remedial Instructor Full Employment group; and the Postal Service now needs to be called the Slow Expensive Obsolete Monopoly...Agree! The National Review urges the government not to abandon the MMR vaccine. “The legacy of Covid-era overreach is no reason to give measles a new lease on life,” the editors wrote...Agree! The Washington Examiner says Florida has made a “grave mistake” by undoing it vaccine mandates. Understatement of the year...How low (brow) can you go?  The White House will host a UFC mixed martial arts cage fight on the south lawn next summer. I guess they couldn’t book the Kennedy Center. (RSBN)... Looks like there’s going to be a new Squad member.  So says the Washington Times, which names Adelita Grijalva, a progressive Democrat who’s running for Congress in Arizona. Among her causes, she supports free preschool education for low-income families...The Gateway Pundit is gloating because former CNN anchor Don Lemon was humiliated during a man-in-the-street interview he conducted with a belligerent passerby.  You can read the details and see the video here...If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Why the Democrats Really, Really Hate RFK Jr.

source: American Thinker

Democrats once celebrated Kennedy as the scion of a legendary political dynasty. His break from the blue ranks and the populist movement he has built, mirrors Trump’s earlier rebellion against establishment Republicans. That similarity explains why both men are loathed by Democratic insiders.

Iryna Karutska’s Murder Doesn’t Fit Our Chosen Narrative

source: Victory Girls

The media really doesn’t want to cover the tragic and horrific story about Iryna Karutska. Why? Because they are all in on sympathizing with and coddling the criminals. They are mad that we are noticing that they weren’t or aren’t covering the story.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! A big no thanks to Tom Hanks. The alumni group of the West Point Military Academy deep-sixed an awards ceremony honoring Tom Hanks, the venerable Hollywood star of such films as “Saving Private Ryan.” He was also the  executive producer of the lauded miniseries “Band of Brothers” and “The Pacific.” The show biz icon has been a tireless advocate for veterans, and was set to receive the West Point alumni organization’s prestigious Sylvanus Thayer Award later this month.  The ceremony was canceled without explanation. The Washington Post, which broke the story over the weekend, speculated that the cause of the cancellation was that the fest “appears to have run headlong into Trump-era politics.” You think? The WaPo highlighted Hanks’ past support for Joe Biden’s 2020 White House run. Hanks was all in for Kamala Harris in her 2024 bid too. Naturally, this morning The Donald  posted this Truth Social barb: “We don’t need destructive, WOKE recipients getting our cherished American Awards!!!” Worth noting: over the weekend Breitbart called Hanks “one of Hollywood’s arch Trump haters”... Love this Wall Street Journal op-ed  headline: RFK Jr. Has Turned Health Services into a Goat Rodeo.  The editorial goes on to say, “HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has married ineptitude to pet obsessions, producing a goat rodeo for the ages. New week, new mess: purgings, resignations, policy reversals, conflicts of interest, elimination of transparency”...Trump  showed up at the men's final of the U.S. Open yesterday. Joe Hoft of The Gateway Pundit complained that Trump  was ignored by mainstream media covering the  tennis tournament.  In part, Hoft was peeved because cameras focused too much on “elites” like Bruce Springsteen and Spike Lee and kept POTUS out of the spotlight....If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. The War on White People

A young woman was butchered on a Charlotte train by a black man and the mainstream media are silent. If Iryna were black and her killer white, the media would be rioting nonstop. But because she's white, they say nothing.
