TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Apologies for the late delivery. Epic problems with my newsletter provider. Let's hope tomorrow is a better day...Much to the dismay of the Wall Street Journal, political dynasties are a hot trend this fall.  The headline of this editorial, which especially targets a young Kennedy running for office, says it all: Jack Schlossberg and the Case Again Political Royalty. Jack Schlossberg, son of Caroline Kennedy, and grandson of JFK, has his eye on a key New York congressional seat that will become vacant when Rep. Jerry Nadler retires next year.  Writer Jack Butler expresses disdain at Schlossberg’s thin resume which includes work in a surf shop and employment as a Vogue political journalist. “American voters don’t owe Mr. Schlossberg the favor of an elected position because of his name,” Butler writer.  “To believe otherwise would be to admit that what the Kennedys always meant by ‘public service’ was self-service.” Ouch! I’m still giving the 32-year-old political neophyte, who would serve my district, a serious look. He gets points in my book for trashing wacky cousin RFK Jr...Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has a big fan in Ray Cardello, editor of Conservative View from NH.  “I was dead wrong about this man,” Cardello confesses in his latest column. “He continues to prove himself a voice of reason in a Senate chamber that is significantly lacking in it”...Kash Patel’s gal pal of three years, conservative country western artist Alexis Wilkins, has been the target of violent threats. The Daily Wire has the details...No King: Four Stephen King movies have tanked at the box office this year, per Breitbart.  They include “The Running Man,” “The Long Walk,” “The Monkey” and “The Life of Chuck”...MAGA Clickbait of the Day: This Outkick headline caught my eye: MAGA Bikini Congresswoman Triggers Libs in Tactical Gear.  Buried deep in the story was an image of Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) in a stars and stripes one piece....If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

By Paul Bedard: Instead of gilding the White House and building a U.S. version of the Arc de Triomphe, pollsters and GOP advisers are calling on the president to address the concerns among his voting base that it has been forgotten, a threat to the Republican control of Congress.

TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Greetings! Laura Loomer vs Marjorie Taylor Greene?  Loomer, the looney far-right activist and Trump favorite, may relocate to Georgia so she can challenge MTG in the GOP primary in Greene’s 14th Congressional district. Trump has called for MTG to be primaried. Fox News has the details. Worth noting: The Donald’s’s new moniker for her is Marjorie Taylor Brown, because, as he points out in this Truth Social post, “green grass turns Brown when it begins to rot.”  Once one of the most loyal of MAGA loyalists,  Trump’s vicious attacks against MTG have been fueled by MTG demanding the Epstein files release, as well as  her blaming his policies for rising prices...Tongues wagged over the weekend among the chattering classes in the wake of last Friday’s NY Times bombshell interview with Olivia Nuzzi, RFK Jr’s ex-sexting partner, and new Vanity Fair West Coast editor. Expect more when Nuzzi’s memoir, American Canto, drops December 2.  BTW: Lousy title...Mergers and Inquisitions: The parent company of the right-leaning Just the News announced late last week that it had purchased two politically-aligned news outlets: Human Events and the Post Millennial. Under the terms of the merger, the Human Events brand, founded in the 1940s, will cease publishing. It will be turned into a “live events platform,” whatever that means. And the Post Millennial, a surprise favorite of  the Trump administration, will ramp up its editorial to more aggressively target right-leaning GenZers... If you keep reading, I’ll keep Righting. Howard

Time to Purge the GOP Backstabbers, Sissies and Narcissists

source: Townhall

By Kurt Schlichter: Members of our party, from weakness, malice, or delusions of moral superiority, have been betraying us left and right lately, with political mediocrities empowered by the fact that the margins are so close and the issues are so important that even the most ridiculous of these alleged Republicans can seize a moment of outsized power simply by sucking up to the regime media.
