As the Delta variant continues to dominate the news and politicians across the country consider new restrictions, two Democrat mayors conveniently timed their new rules around weekend events taking place in their cities. Mayor Muriel Bowser of Washington D.C. and Mayor Lori Lightfoot of Chicago were each seen out and about maskless, just before the new restrictions went into effect.
