Imagine being gay and advocating for the creation of a country that, if you had the misfortune of living there, would immediately place you at risk of being unceremoniously thrown from a tall building. One struggles to conjure up a more self-extinguishing declaration. “Jews for Hitler” comes to mind, or perhaps “Chickens for Colonel Sanders.”
