In coverage of the recent Rhode Island ice rink shooting involving Robert Dorgan, it became apparent pretty soon that the shooter (also known as “Roberta”) was trans. It took relatively minimal investigation by folks on X to figure it out. But CNN and MSYesterday didn’t want to tell anyone the truth and referred to him as a “person” and a “shooter.
