Neither Renee Good nor Alex Pretti were innocents. They both deliberately involved themselves in an out-of-control civil disturbance and paid for their bad judgment with their lives. A tragedy to be sure, but a thoroughly foreseeable one without doubt. You can’t get killed in a riot if you aren’t anywhere near the riot.
