Democrats like to use it as an example, ad nauseam, of the dangers of Trump’s powers and the devotion of his followers. But while they regularly cite Jan. 6 as a dark day in the nation’s history due to the carnage at the Capitol, they conspicuously lack the same appetite to offer similar criticism for the much more violent, destructive, and damaging riots of Black Lives Matter and antifa in 2020.
