Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington recently hosted what they dubbed a “Queer Prom” for LGBTQ+ and “ally” youth ages 14 to 24. Only in 2025 do you call it a prom when kids dance with adults and leave with condoms and an HIV test instead of a corsage. Is it a prom night or predatory theater?
