According to a recent study, 9,000 politically active Twitter users, made up of 50% Republican and 50% Democrat accounts, shared election hashtags in October 2020. 35.6% of the Republican users were suspended, while just 7.7% of the Democrat users were suspended throughout a sixth month period.
