TOP OF THE DAY by Howard Polskin

Dept. of Bad News: In an appearance on NewsNation, Steve Bannon predicted that Trump would run again in 2028 and win.  “A man like this comes along once every century, if we're lucky,” Bannon told anchor Chris Cuomo, according to WND. My take: the only thing standing between The Donald and a third term is his diet of Big Macs…Dept. of Truth: Writing in the Washington Times, Joseph Curl comes right out and calls Donald Trump a cheater at golf.  Curl labels the president the Commander in Cheat and goes on to say that Trump’s golf lies expose his true self. Worth noting: Curl is influential in right wing circles…Jake Lang, a 29-year-old who was pardoned by Trump for his role in the J6 attacks, has announced a run for the U.S. Senate in Florida. (American Greatness)…Nasty! When JD Vance was queried about how he’s handling the Veep role differently from Kamala Harris, he replied that he didn’t have “four shots of vodka before every meeting.” (Breitbart)… Disgraced former Trump legal advisor Jenna Ellis has penned an article for the Daily Caller raising questions about Biden’s use of the autopen.  Seems like she’s trying to get back into Trump’s good graces…Weekend watch: Because I’m a sucker for true crime documentaries, it’s no surprise that I’m hooked on the four-part Max docuseries A Body in the Snow.
